Emma & Paul, The Wedding

I am so thrilled to finally present to you, Emma & Paul's Wedding! Emma & Paul were married in Houston at the gorgeous, Paraiso Maravilla on November 27, 2009. I was so blessed to have the opportunity to have worked with some really amazing vendors who I would work with again in a heartbeat! First and foremost, Ashley K Photography was outstanding!! What a treat to be able to work with her!! Gerardo and Angela Garmendia of Garmendia Photography, were absolutely fabulous as always and travelled all the way to Houston to rock Emma & Paul's Cinematography. Houston's, Central Market, was the genius behind all of the fabulous flowers. Ceremony music was provided by the very talented, Jimmy the Piper, and the beautiful, ambient lighting and reception entertainment was provided by LG Entertainment. Beautiful Makeup done by Lily Yanez of Houston Makeup. The Bride's cake and table linens were provided by A Day To Remember. Beautiful cocktail lounge furniture was provided by Prop Rock.

What an incredible night this was!! Family and friends from Scotland, Houston, California, McAllen, and all over came out to celebrate Emma & Paul's union. The evening was crisp and very cool, and the night was clear. We opened up the gorgeous, floor to ceiling, glass doors of Paraiso, and allowed the fresh November, Houston air in to help cool this hot party down!! Guests were treated to premium cocktails and a buffet dinner by Bennie Ferrel Catering, while being entertained by Mariachi Calmecac of Houston. Scottish men in kilts were a sight for sore eyes and a breath of fresh Scottish air! The wedding night ended (reluctantly, I might add) with a fun sparkler sendoff that made the bride gasp with happiness! Thank you Emma & Paul for trusting me and placing your wedding in my hands. I wish you both a beautiful and blessed life together for many, many years to come!

Emma's Bridal Session - The Video

It is such a pleasure to be able to present the following video to all of you! Filmed & created by Gerardo Garmendia Cinematography (McAllen, TX) during Emma's Bridal photography session with Ashley K Photography (Houston, TX). The two very talented artists, who were brought together to document Emma & Paul's wedding day, joined in a fabulous collaboration of talents and produced this incredible piece of work! Both vendors have played such a HUGE part in making Emma so happy and treating her like a true princess!!! I am so fortunate to be included in even just a small part of Emma & Paul's wedding. Jackie & Ben's E-Session

The first time I met Jackie & Ben I was drawn to them! We connected immediately! They both had so much energy and were so visibly passionate for one another, it was almost impossible to ignore! Such a beautiful couple, inside and out, I look forward to coordinating their wedding day, which will be held at Puesta del Sol Sobre El Arroyo, in Harlingen. Anahi Navarro, one of my favorite photographers will be carefully documenting their special day. Fun Peacock Themed Party Place Card

So as I was looking through some images of peacocks & peacock feathers today, for Emma, my November bride, and I got a little sidetracked! I found this cute peacock clip art and thought it would make for a nice addition to a place card. So I made these cute party place cards and I now want to host a peacock themed party, just so I can put these to use! Sometimes I really love getting sidetracked!

Okay, so before anyone goes and starts throwing tomatoes at me for posting Emma's Bridal photos, BEFORE her actual wedding, let me tell you, #1, Emma has given me the go ahead to do so and #2, Paul, her Fiance doesn't blog or anything of the sort so we're safe in the knowledge that he won't be seeing these! :-) NOW....on to the show! Emma's bridal session took place atParaiso Maravilla in Houston, which will also be the location of her ceremony & reception! It is a gorgeous location which I will becoming familiar with on a personal basis at the end of this month. And her FABULOUSLY TALENTED photographer is Ashley K Photography! Emma has a great team lined up for hers & Paul's wedding in November 2009 and I'm so fortunate to be apart of it! Thank you again Emma! XOXOXO

Vanessa & Matt Part 1

Vanessa & Matt were married on June 13, 2009 at one of the most beautiful churches I've ever seen! St. Paul's Catholic Church, in Mission, TX. The reception that followed was held at Quinta Mazatlan in McAllen and was a HUGE hit!! Vanessa chose an elegant & regal color palette of Navy Blue, Gold, and White for her wedding colors. Cocktail hour & dinner entertainment was provided by Mr. Brooks Ausborn. As guests arrived at the reception venue, they were happily greeted by my wedding coordinator assistant, Ms. Bianca Montalvo, and treated to an incredible indoor entertainment hour with casino tables, provided by Joe Roxks Entertainment, and photobooth by TNT Photobooths. Delicious pre-dinner appetizers were both stationed & hand passed byCity Cafe & Catering. As the evening began to cool, guests were led outdoors and into the courtyard where their assigned tables & seating were awaiting them. The double buffet dinner was also provided by City Cafe & Catering. As big fans & followers of their Austin, TX based band, Vanessa & Matt knew immediately that they wanted to hire The Brew! This band really knocked the socks off of every guest! Simply awesome!!! Fantabulous videography provided byGerardo Garmendia Photography. And awesome photography by, Austin based, Sean Wray Photography. It was such a pleasure to have the opportunity to get to know Vanessa & Matt and take part in their beautiful wedding day!
